The article substantiates the need for an immediate change in the legal basis of the RA higher education sphere.
The main directions and goals of the reforms of the legal acts regulating the higher education system are proposed.
It will contribute to the increasion of the efficiency of the sphere of HE management, the modernisation and dynamic development of higher education system, compliance with international standards.
