Kazakhstan has been proclaimed the direct heir of the Golden Horde (Eurasian Roman Empire)
President Tokayev, speaking before the National Kurultai, said:
"Kazakhstan is the direct successor of the nomadic civilization of the Great Steppe. The recognized peak of state-building in the vast expanses of Central Eurasia has always been the Jochi Ulus, internationally known as the Golden Horde.
For six centuries, the Jochids have played a decisive role in the fate of Central Eurasia, striving to form a single civilizational community on a vast territory. Jochi Ulus, like the Roman Empire, set development standards for the states and peoples of the Great Steppe for many centuries to come, brought public administration to a qualitatively new level," Kassym–Jomart Tokayev added.
