visited Caribbean to participate in international conference on Education policy.
The International Conference on Education Policy brought together leading educators, policymakers, and researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments and trends in the field of education policy. The conference, organized in the framework of EU ERASMUS plus program held in Caribbean Saint Martin and provided a platform for attendees to share their insights and experiences, and to learn from one another in order to foster the development of more effective education policies.
The conference began with a keynote address from a renowned education policy expert Dr Alain Chanson (USA), who discussed the impact of education on politics. He argued that education plays a critical role in shaping individuals and society, and that education policies can have a significant influence on political outcomes. Throughout the conference, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions that explored different aspects of education policy. Topics included the use of data in policymaking, the role of private funding in education, and the impact of globalization on education systems.
One of the highlight session was led by Dr Atom Mkhitaryan (Armenia) who discussed the importance of involving various stakeholders, particularly teachers and students, in the policy-making process. He argued that by listening to the perspectives of those directly impacted by education policies, policymakers can make more informed decisions that truly serve the needs of students and educators.
Another notable session was led by a researcher Dr Astghik Avetisyan (Armenia) who focused on the impact of globalization on education policy. She discussed the ways in which global economic and political trends are affecting education systems around the world, and offered strategies for adapting education policies to meet the changing needs of students and society.
The conference also provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to network and collaborate with other professionals in the field. Many attendees left the conference feeling informed, energized, and better equipped to address the pressing policy issues facing education today. Overall, the International Conference on Education Policy was a success in fostering a deeper understanding of the complex and ever-evolving field of education policy, and provided valuable insights into how we can improve education to better serve the needs of individuals, society and politics.
